Our twentieth annual Castine Classic Yacht celebration on July 31 will honor iconic Herreshoff yachts with an exhibition at Town Dock (noon - 4pm); Symposium at Delano (4:00-6:00) chaird by Bill Lynn, Director of the Herreshoff Marine Museum/America’s Cup Hall of Fame; and reception at Castine Yacht Club (6:00 - 7:30). All are invited.
Pond Island - a magical place where friends and family enjoy pit grilled lobsters, potatoes and corn along with other treats provided in a pot-luck manner. Everyone in the club - members, Junior Program participants and their parents and friends of members are invited. The program staff will arrange transportation to and from. A traditional slow roasted pork dinner. Come early and watch the pit master at work from early in the morning. Enjoy a spectacular day at the club with friends and family. Cheer on the Castine class races and Adult Opti Races.

This ‘Downeast' cruise begins with a voyage to Roque Island with stops at Opechee island, Winter Harbor and Dyer Island. On the return to Castine, there will be stops at Moose Snare Cove, Mistake Island, Prospect Harbor, Northeast Harbor and Mackerel Cove.
